I will slowly be adding new "Vintage" fiction and poetry to Modern Evil, as I get it re-typed. Every "Vintage" piece is from my high school years (or thereabouts), and as made available here is transcribed word-for-word from my originals (with spelling corrected where appropriate), retaining the initial creations in all their inexperienced glory. Future editions may be edited, but the "Vintage" editions will always retain the quality and content of the originals.
You may purchase the entire "Vintage" collection at once (over 10 short stories and over 40 poems) with the following link:
These two "Vintage" poems are ... well, frankly they're repetitive and trite, like you expect the poetry of teenagers to be. No death, these poems are about escaping from and then seeing the value in everyday life. Two poems, about 200 words between them, four cents for both:
The following is the first four lines of 'A Wind':
A wind out of nowhere,
It took me away.
To a faraway place,
Where I will forever stay.
